About the host:

Hosted by Kosh, it's an Eco-art initiative based in Ahmedabad. Aim of the initiative is to spread ecological awareness through creative practices. Founded by Krishna Sheth, A visual artist and designer.

This workshop will be facilitated by Sanjeev Kumar. Sanjeev is a visual artist, currently working with Indian Type Foundry as a Typeface designer. Because of his love towards alphabets, he does experimental calligraphy with various Indian languages and break the conventional by using in unconventional methods and materials. He plays around with alphabets of Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Gurmukhi, Odia, Kannada, Bangla and Malayalam in a way to learn them better and get familiar with the scripts. Sanjeev has done his BFA in Applied Art from College of Art, New Delhi.
