Home Baithak: Jugalbandi by Shruti Saathi

Rs. 1,299.00

Experience the timeless beauty of Hindustani Classical Music in an intimate baithak-style concert with Shruti Saathi - a quartet that brings together the soulful resonance of the sarod by Smit Tewari, the lyrical grace of the sitar by Soumendra Goswami, and the rhythmic brilliance of tabla by Sukant Krishna and Ishan Sharma.

Through this harmonious blend of melody and rhythm, the group creates a soundscape where tradition meets emotion, improvisation, and conversation - turning music into an experience that is as immersive as it is meditative.

Whether you’re a lifelong rasik or someone newly curious about Indian classical music, this baithak invites you to slow down, listen deeply, and connect with music that transcends time and words.

Naadyatra Baithak

About the Host:

Sangeeta Chopra is a Leadership & Executive Coach with My Persona and a devoted student of Dhrupad since 2011, training under Sanjeev Kumar Jha, an early disciple of the Dhrupad Sansthan, Bhopal.

Passionate about keeping India’s oldest classical tradition alive, she founded Naadyatra Baithak, a home-concert series dedicated to nurturing and sharing the beauty of Dhrupad. For her, hosting baithaks is a true labor of love - where ticket sales go right back into sustaining the art form and creating soulful spaces for artists and rasiks to connect.
