Riya Sen

About the Host:

Riya Sen is a multidisciplinary visual artist and the founder of Peculiar Pigment, an art
practice rooted in experimentation, storytelling, and mindful making. She primarily
explores acrylic as a medium, along with recycled art, Indian folk inspirations,
watercolour, miniature painting, and experimental pigment study.
With over 700+ workshops conducted across schools, community centres, wellness
spaces, corporates, cultural venues, and philanthropic circles, Riya brings an inclusive,
process-led approach to art education. Her work spans custom commissions,
handcrafted pieces, mixed-media artworks, and art-therapy-focused creative formats
that emphasise expression, rhythm, and connection.
