This guided experience takes you through ancient temples, royal stepwells, and riverside ghats that have witnessed centuries of devotion, art, and power. Discover stories of queens, warriors, and saints as we visit beautifully preserved landmarks like the 12 Motachi Vihir, Dholya Ganpati Mandir, Kashi Vishweshwar Mandir, Lakshmi Narasimha Mandir, and the historic Nana Fadnavis Wada & Menavali Ghat. We’ll end the journey with a refreshing stop at Mapro Food Park, surrounded by lush greenery and the taste of local delicacies. It’s a day of exploration, storytelling, and timeless charm - a perfect blend of history, spirituality, and travel.

Highlights:

  • On this day trip we will be visiting:
    1) 12 Motachi Vihir - A step well built in 1724, during the Maratha Empire by the Maharani of Chhatrapati Shahu
    Maharaj.
    2) Dholya Ganpati Mandir - Commissioned in the mid 18th century by the influential Sardar Raste family on the Krishna
    River ghat.
    3) Kashi Vishweshwar Mandir - A replica of the Kashi Vishwanath temple of Varanasi for Wai getting the name Dakshin Kashi.
    4) Lakshmi Narasimha Mandir- Renowned for its unique & rare dual idols of Lord Narasimha- one fierce (Ugra) and one
    calm (Saumya) with Lakshmi.
    5) Nana Fadnavis Wada & Menavali Ghat - Built in the 1770s by the Finance & Administration Minister of the Maratha Empire, Nana Fadnavis, as his private retreat.

  • Itinerary:
    6 - 7 am : Pick-up
    7.45 am : Breakfast enroute
    10 - 11 am : Visit Bara Motachi Vihir in Limb
    11.30 - 12 pm : Visit Dholya Ganpati Temple & Kashi Vishveshwar Temple in Wai
    12.15 - 1.30 pm : Visit Laxmi Narsimha Temple in Dhom
    2 - 3 pm : Lunch enroute
    3.15 - 3.45 pm : Visit Nana Wada & Menawali Ghat
    4.30 -5.15 pm : Visit Mapro Food Park
    5.30 - 6 pm : Hi-Tea
    8 pm - Reach Pune. Drop will be at the point where you were picked up.

Randhir is a Bachelors in Hotel Management and Masters in Media & Communications, with Pune University Gold Medals both times. He has previously worked at the Taj Mahal Palace,Mumbai. Well connected in the Hospitality & Tourism industry, he has a collective experience of more than 10 years.
